Mark Kahley has spent his entire legal career of almost 20 years specializing in insurance claim litigation. Mark received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Florida in 2002, followed by his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. Mr. Kahley has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2007, and he was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2011.
From 2006 through 2008, Mark worked for the chief operating officer and general counsel of a regional insurance carrier to ensure company compliance with state and federal regulations as well manage outside counsel for claims litigation. Wanting to pursue a legal career practicing inside of a courtroom, Mark worked at an insurance defense firm for over 10 years where his practice included representing some of the largest insurance companies in the country, and he gained valuable trial experience in defending third-party liability and bad-faith claims handling actions across throughout the State of Florida.
Turning his focus to helping members of his community, Mark joined the largest plaintiffs law firm in Florida in 2018 where he fought for the rights of individuals and businesses in their pursuit of justice against insurance companies for wrongfully denied, or underpaid, benefits to which they were entitled.
Outside of work, Mr. Kahley enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and watching anything relating to University of Florida Athletics.
